From Seville to Austin: Inés García begins a global football mission with Football Without Borders


Austin, Texas / Utrera, Spain – Spanish footballer Inés García Peral has begun a unique international experience in the United States through the FSF – Playermaker Ambassador Scholarship, a global initiative led by Bridges to Our Future (B2OF) and Football Without Borders (FSF).
During her eight weeks in Austin, Inés will:
- Participate in international youth football camps.
- Improve her English through structured language courses.
- Access top-level training facilities.
- Contribute to the FSF TV digital platform and social media channels.
- Take part in multicultural leadership activities and community events.




More than football: A journey of growth and purpose
The program is designed not only to develop football talent, but also to strengthen leadership, communication, and intercultural skills. Inés’s role includes appearing in audiovisual content, representing FSF’s values, and helping connect young people through sport and storytelling.
"Inés not only represents Utrera and youth with purpose—she embodies what FSF stands for: inclusion, innovation, and the future of football without borders," said the FSF team.
Looking ahead
This international opportunity marks an important milestone in Inés’s development. A former Andalusian U-17 champion and committed athlete, she aspires to debut in Spain’s Liga F with Sevilla FC’s first team. Her path from Utrera to Austin reflects a new generation of athletes ready to use football as a platform for change and connection.
