Questions About the 2026 FSF Events

Helpful answers for families, players, academies, and partners.

No. This is a tryout event. Selected players will receive the opportunity to participate in the Spain program at a later stage. Flights, accommodation, and program costs for Spain are separate and will be communicated to selected players.

Players will be evaluated by FSF coaching staff across both days. Selected participants will be invited to join the Spain experience roster and contacted directly with next steps regarding the program.

The tryout takes place on August 1st and 2nd at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex, TX. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled session time.

The tryout is open to both boys and girls ages 8–17. Players should bring appropriate soccer gear and be ready for competitive training sessions and match scenarios.

The early bird rate of $99 is available until May 31st, 2025. After that date, registration will increase to the standard price of $200. Spots are limited, so we encourage early registration.

Players train, compete, and are evaluated by FSF coaches in a structured event environment.

No. Players do not need to belong to an academy to attend.

Coaches evaluate overall player performance, including attitude, quality in play, competitiveness, and readiness in a team environment.

Yes. The event gives players the chance to compete, be seen, and receive evaluation-related feedback through the FSF process.

Yes. Match play is part of the evaluation experience.

Yes. Academies can coordinate participation for eligible players interested in the FSF event pathway

Yes. FSF is open to working with aligned academies to expand awareness, participation, and event support.

No. Individual players and academy players are both welcome.

That depends on event operations and approval. Participation and access should be coordinated directly with FSF.

Academies should contact FSF directly through the event contact channels to discuss player participation or partnership opportunities.

Sponsors can support event operations, community access, player opportunities, and the overall growth of the FSF program.

Visibility opportunities may include event presence, digital mentions, select promotional placement, and association with youth development and international opportunity.
